Responsibilities

Marymount seeks to build a pool of persons qualified to teach Sociology courses with an emphasis on a global perspective.


Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree with 18 graduate credits in area of teaching/sociology.


Preferred Qualifications

- Doctorate in Sociology with previous teaching experience.
- The ability and commitment to use technology and web-based teaching.

Job Duties

Teaching

Responsibility / Duty

Office Hours need to be available for at least one additional hour per week for each course taught, to advise students concerning their coursework.

Percent of total time 10%

Responsibility / Duty

Available for 2 administrative meetings per semester to coordinate courses and conduct program assessment.
