The Wilson Hall Event Coordinator will work in a newly renovated building with a congenial and diverse faculty and staff to manage small and large events hosted by the various departments and programs. The incumbent will provide administrative support for multiple Centers, Institutes, and Departments co- located will and be supported by a team of Business Administrators. This position's responsibilities will include active discussions with Program Directors and Project Managers, and onsite oversight of events. In supporting these events, flexibility to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends will be required. Incumbent will provide graphic design and creative marketing/advertising assistance, update websites and manage social media outlets. The incumbent will provide programmatic support for the Centers, Institutes, and Departments. Financial responsibilities will include procurement of goods and services, honoraria payments, and reimbursements. The incumbent will resolve building-related issues and implement efficient procedures for smooth operations.
This is a ten month position. The position is keyed to the academic year such that work would be done and wages paid from August-June (the exact dates of the academic year change each calendar year). The anticipated hiring range for this position at a ten month rate is $21,666-$33,333.
