Job Description Summary: The Psychology Department at Furman University announces a one-year visiting position with the possibility of a one-year renewal to begin August 2017. We seek candidates who will teach Introduction to Psychology and a course in the area of Cognition. The ability to teach a course related to Aging is also desirable. A PhD and teaching experience are required. The Psychology Department has outstanding teaching space, well-equipped laboratories, and excellent university support for teaching and undergraduate research. The teaching load is 5 courses per year divided over 2 semesters. The candidate must be committed to exemplary teaching. If desired, the candidate will also have the opportunity to conduct research in collaboration with undergraduate students. Minimum Qualifications: PhD and teaching experience are required. Ability to teach Introduction to Psychology and a course in the area of Cognition.

Preferred Qualifications: The ability to teach a course related to Aging is also desirable.

Salary Grade: Level 13 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
