Full-time, benefits eligible, permanent (probationary) position. This position is designated non-exempt under FLSA and eligible for overtime compensation. The work schedule will be 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., although the initial training schedule will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (for up to three months).
Under general supervision of the Facilities Project Supervisor, incumbent will perform a variety of basic and complex semi-skilled maintenance, repair and renovation work.

Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $4,600 per month. CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,318 - $5,426 per month. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.

A combination of experience and training equivalent to three years of hands on experience in general facilities and systems maintenance and repair, or comparable experience as a trades assistant or laborer with demonstrated proficiency in the required duties.
Preferred Qualifications and Specialized Skills
Two years of verifiable employment experience performing work in one or more of the following trades: Masonry, Carpentry, Roofing, Locksmith, Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing, or closely related field; technical school trades certification may substitute for one year of work experience.
