College Success Navigator
Guides new students from the first point of contact through goal attainment. Provides proactive, ongoing, individualized support designed to help program participants persist and successfully complete their education and career goals. Collaborates with the Executive Director of the Career and Academic Skills Center, Avenue Scholars Talent Advisors, faculty members, advisors, financial aid and other support staff throughout the College to continually assess students’ progress, implement helpful interventions as necessary, and track overall program outcomes.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus two years of full time administrative experience particularly in advising/counseling, financial aid, recruitment and/or case management required. Experience in an educational environment strongly preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience including part time considered. A valid driver’s license and insurability to drive college vehicles is required. Hiring process includes a background check. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. NOTE: College degrees obtained outside the U.S. accepted only when interpreted by transcript service members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.
