International Risk Manager
The Office of International Affairs at the University of Oregon seeks qualified applicants for the position International Risk Manager (IRM). The manager will reside in the Office of International Affairs (OIA), and report directly to the Vice Provost for International Affairs. The International Risk Manager will work closely with the staff of GEO, particularly the Executive Director and Director, and other senior staff as needed. The IRM coordinates policies and procedures associated with the safety and welfare of students, faculty, and staff traveling abroad for study or university business through OIA programs. The manager will also work with Safety and Risk Services and other campus units to address similar needs for university personnel traveling abroad for other purposes. The IRM identifies, promotes, and implements health and safety protocols associated with international mobility standards established by professional organizations such as NAFSA, The Forum on Education Abroad, and various federal and international agencies that focus on risk, health, and safety abroad.
