Lecturer in Applied Math
Harrisburg University of Science and Technology is seeking applicants for a full time faculty position in Mathematics. We are interested in candidates working in diverse fields including, Applied Mathematics, Physical and Biological Sciences, and Analytics.
Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching all levels of undergraduate and graduate mathematics, including the following topics and/or courses: College Algebra, Calculus I, Calculus II, Differential Equations, Discrete Math, Matrix Theory, Linear and Non-Linear Systems of Equations, Probability, Applied Statistics, and Mathematical Modeling.
Applicants are expected to manage and develop new mathematical offerings in support of Harrisburg University’s growing Science and Technology Programs. This Lecturer of Mathematics will support and contribute to multiple Programs at our University.

- Earned masters degree from an accredited university in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Analytics or a relevant area is preferred.
- Willingness and aptitude for teaching and utilizing technology in the classroom
- Experience advising undergraduate research
- Ability to initiate and supervise interdisciplinary, applied projects and research
