Position Summary

The Staff Magnet Engineer will lead, design, construction, commissioning and operation of warm and superconducting magnets; provide magnet engineering support; participate in the design, fabrication, and assembly of technical equipment; develop commissioning procedures and commission magnets, and support the life cycle from concept, design, and fabrication, to testing and installation of FRIB magnet systems.

Required Degree

Masters -Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Requirements

10+ years experience with warm and superconducting magnets
