Summary of Job Duties
The HR Partner serves as a subject matter expert and works closely with assigned areas of the University to resolve current HR issues and anticipate future HR needs with specific emphasis in the areas of recruitment and retention. The HR Partner serves as an initial contact for assistance in posting and filling vacant positions, onboarding new employees, and managing employee performance, collaborating as a team and with other HR units as needed to effectively meet campus needs. This position will also administer the staff performance evaluation process and be responsible for recommending and implementing best practices in performance reviews.
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

- The formal educational equivalent of a bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration, or a related field
- At least two years of human resources experience

- Ability to plan and perform organizational analysis and feasibility studies
- Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of others
- Ability to prepare and present oral and written information and reports
