Job Description

The Site Superintendent is accountable for the accomplishment of overall Project Objectives, cost, quality and time. Organizes labor, equipment and materials and directs their application toward the economic (within budget) and timely (on-time) completion of the Project. Serves as the focal point of communication, command and control between the Company, the Project, and public officials, customers and government entities. Assures compliance with all government regulations and public utilities. Carries out project objectives. (Cost objectives, scheduling objectives, quality objectives, safety objectives, customer satisfaction objectives and morale objectives.) Delineates intermediate and short term operational objectives and supervises the devlopment of subordinate objectives among assigned crews, subcontractors and vendors. Monitors and adapts the production plan on a daily basis to assure schedules are met in an efficient and profitable manner. Recommends and assists in the development of change orders. Provides s-builts" as required. Completes Daily Project Report. Holds Daily Job meetings as needed. Holds Site Safety meetings as required. Orders materials as needed to assure the production schedule. Sees to Job Site Security for all materials, tools and equipment. Maintains records, logs, reports and forms as required.
