Duties: Reporting to the Senior Director of Wharton Online, the Course Manager for Online Executive Education will implement and support the operations of online and blended program designs of Wharton's Executive Education division. This role will be responsible for building and running online components of Wharton's programs for executive education clients. The Course Manager works to deliver and manage online courses. Tasks include working with faculty members, Wharton Online staff, and Executive Education staff to support the design, development, and delivery of online educational programs. Additional tasks include managing and curating content in online communities, monitoring discussion forums, the care and feeding of online communities as needed, coordinating and managing aspects of logistics, communication and learner interaction related to the running of online and blended programs, and assisting in video shoots.

With responsibility for all facets of online course management, the Course Manager ensures that all deliverables are completed, on time and within budget. Tasks include assisting in the design of online courses, developing and maintaining online courses, presenting to external and internal partners, overseeing course delivery and management, and managing project workflows.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Some graduate-level education preferred. 3- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in course production, classroom teaching experience, development of educational and communication resources, collaborative project planning. Highly skilled in professional communication and media development, excellent written and visual communication skills, including ability to leverage all forms of media to communicate effectively. Planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, comfort with technology and management of people and projects, diplomacy. Experience in identifying emerging communication trends and technologies, and integrating them into tactical planning and daily activities a plus. Diplomatic skills to work with a wide range of individuals while representing the Wharton School.

Experience in using Canvas, Coursera, and edX preferred. Willingness to learn is required. Interest and excitement in exploring and figuring out new tools and technologies. Ability to work with a diverse set of individuals in a customer-facing situation required.

Flexibility in scheduling and working hours preferred (early mornings/late evenings/weekends) in order to support online courses which run 24/7. Valid driver's license required.
