Unit Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Data Analytics is an integral part of Chicago Booth's Executive MBA global team. Serve as the data and systems expert for the Executive MBA Program. The primary focus of this position will be on Marketing and Admissions, with the potential to expand resources to Student Services and Operations. Work closely with each regional Admissions team to enhance the management of admissions and marketing data, reporting, and analysis with the goal of enhancing our global strategies. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Work in consultation with regional teams to oversee global management of data collection in Slate, the prospective student and applicant database. -Develop and maintain a robust global metrics dashboard to track and analyze global and regional trends in the Executive MBA program target market(s). -Develop predictive models for global and regional pipeline development, advertising campaigns, and applicant conversion strategies. -Maintain and update global and regional customer journey mapping year-on-year. -Conduct regular and extensive qualitative competitor research. -Plan and oversee yearly survey and focus group research projects. -Play an integral role in compiling, developing and presenting end-of-year report and analysis to the Executive MBA leadership team and Deputy Dean. -Develop and maintain a reference guide for staff that documents data collection within Slate, naming conventions, rules, etc. -Coordinate continuous training for global staff to enhance knowledge around data reporting and emerging technology. -Develop and maintain automated system audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy. -Create data reports at the request of the leadership team and Dean's Office as needed. -Work to integrate user behavior data (Ping) within overall marketing strategy and reporting. -Serve as an internal consultant for developing global and campus specific queries and reports in Slate. -Develop close working relationships with other Slate experts on the Executive MBA team and through the School to: --Collaborate and lead data initiatives for the global Executive MBA team --Collaborate and lead data initiatives for Chicago Booth -Serve as Executive MBA Program lead to Data Warehouse, Chicago Booth Tableau users group.

Unit Education: Bachelor's degree required. Coursework in computer science and statistics preferred.

Unit Experience: At least one year of related experience in system administration and data analysis required. At least one year of related experience working on marketing projects and initiatives preferred.

Exceptional communications skills required; professional demeanor, discretion, and a customer service-oriented approach to the job required. Demonstrated proficiency in Slate and the Microsoft Office suite required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Ability to analyze data and offer insight as to action needed required. Superior organizational skills required. Ability to identify priorities, multi-task, and consistently meet deadlines required. Proven ability to manage internal working relationships and interact and communicate with discretion, clarity, tact, and courtesy required. Ability to maintain confidentiality required. Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends when workload (e.g. evening conference calls) or evening coverage necessitates required. An ability to travel both internationally and domestically required. Coding fluency in HTML, SQL, and Tableau preferred.
