Job Description

Mercy Diagnostics, Inc., a high complexity reference laboratory located Mount Laurel, NJ, is looking for highly motivated Medical Laboratory Technicians to become part of our growing team as we expand into Connecticut.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT's) or MT to work based out of our Plainfield, Connecticut physician office lab. Position may require travel to our other POL's. The laboratory is a moderate complexity testing facility.

Duties include, but are not limited to phlebotomy, performing routine and specialized laboratory tests and other procedures for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases; utilizing various laboratory equipment, instruments, and Harvest and Copia computer systems; evaluating and reporting patient results using considerable independent judgment within the scope of established testing methods; performing quality control procedures; contributing to the maintenance of the laboratory, equipment, and supplies; and assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures, instrumentation, etc. Contact with clients and good customer service skills are important.


Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) or equivalent with phlebotomy experience a must

Previous physician office lab or reference lab experience preferred

Ability to work independently

Laboratory Information Systems experience (LIS)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with accrediting agencies desired, but not required (COLA/CLIA)
