Minimum $42,167 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, Nursing, or related field.
Master's degree preferred, relevant degrees include MBA, MPH, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Nursing, or related field.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Required:
-Minimum of two years of successful project management experience
-Experience using project management tools or software
-Strong project management skills and excellent attention to detail
-Systematic approach to tasks that ensures consistent quality of work products
-Ability to work independently and manage competing tasks in an evolving environment, with on-time achievement of project goals
-Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with diverse stakeholders, including researchers, funders, and the community (broadly-defined)
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel

Preferred:
-Interest and prior experience in innovation and developing and marketing new initiatives
-Experience in the health arena
Project Management certification or similar training


The successful candidate will be a self-starter and creative-thinker with tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit.



Position Summary:


The purpose of this position is to be the driving force for a new program that aims to identify and bring out to the market UW research innovations and interventions that are proven, ready for dissemination, and have potential for substantial health impact. This position has broad duties and is responsible for the successful planning and execution of a portfolio of projects, overseeing all stages of translation, through dissemination, implementation, scale-up and commercial sustainability. The Project Manager serves as a member of the D&I Team, which includes the faculty Director, Program Manager, Researcher and Communications Specialist. This position works under the direction of the D&I Program Manager.



Additional Information:

Occasional in-state travel and potential occasional national travel will be required.
