This position supports and assists all admissions staff with various duties, including but not limited to answering the main phone line, checking and responding to Admissions Office e-mail account, collecting and processing department mail, and assists with the coordination of assignments for Student Ambassadors. Assists with database maintenance and entering information, conducts research, and provides support for office functions and events. Helps as needed to ensure recruiter materials are packed properly for designated recruiting events by prescribed deadlines. Serves as backup for administrative office staff and performs other duties as assigned.
Data Entry: Involves use of ACES2; Microsoft Office Suite Programs - Word, Excel, Outlook; and Internet Research.
Event Planning: Assists with and maintains RSVP lists; designs and prints name tags; and helps to organize and print event materials.
Project Coordination: Including, but not limited to: Campus visits, Personal Admit Visit Days and Admitted Students Day, assistance with creating and assembling materials.
High school diploma/equivalency and one year of work experience are required.
Applicants must be familiar with accurate data entry, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software and standard office equipment/procedures.
Must be able to independently prioritize multiple work assignments, maintain professional office demeanor, and interact with a wide variety of constituents (prospective students, faculty, staff, alumni, and others) in a professional manner.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and work effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and a wide variety of external constituents.
Must be able to dress professionally daily and arrive to work on time daily.
Prior work experience in an office setting is preferred.

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated hourly wage is $10-$12.00 per hour based on experience.
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
Position is full-time, M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening overtime hours may be required for special events.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
