This position will provide administrative and data processing support for the Department of Biological Safety (http://ehs.uky.edu/biosafety/). Responsibilities include maintaining departmental filing systems (paper and electronic), inventories, and supplies; routing phone calls and shared email account; assisting in meeting and training coordination; data entry of compliance information and preparation of reports; placing orders, running payroll reports, and processing PRDs in SAP; and performing other various administrative support and data management functions of the Department of Biological Safety.

Lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 pounds, and sitting at a computer work station for the majority of the day.

MS Office Software, Data Entry, Outlook and email communications, excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Education/Experience

Associate's Degree plus one year of related work experience or equivalent.

Driver's License and the ability to drive preferred for use of campus vehicle.
