West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics and WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital is seeking an academic physician to join an established group in our level IV NICU practice.
Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited pediatrics residency program and be fellowship trained and board certified/eligible in neonatology. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials. Responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care as well as teaching medical students and pediatrics residents. Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research.
The 38-bed NICU is staffed with fellows, residents and 24-hour NNP coverage and includes active teaching, research and follow-up programs. We are recruiting an individual with strong clinical, teaching and interpersonal skills and interest in contributing to the clinical and research growth of our department.
