Job Description:

The AAHA accredited Oncology Service is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with cancer within three distinct subservices: Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. The Radiation Oncology service uses a linear accelerator to deliver radiation to our patients who are anesthetized.

The Radiation Oncology service is looking for a veterinary assistant to help within the area so the technicians and doctors can continue to provide excellent patient-focused care.

Primary duties will include assisting the veterinary technician with:

  • Anesthetizing patients and ensuring safe recoveries
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the area and equipment
  • Maintaining inventory and stock

Additionally, the position may assist other areas of oncology when needed. Shift available is Monday through Friday from 8AM until 4PM.

Advertised Salary:

$11.00 per hour.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in customer service and veterinary medicine.
