OPS Radiation Oncology Veterinary Assistant
OPS Hourly Non-Secretary/ClerkJob Description:
The AAHA accredited Oncology Service is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with cancer within three distinct subservices: Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. The Radiation Oncology service uses a linear accelerator to deliver radiation to our patients who are anesthetized.
The Radiation Oncology service is looking for a veterinary assistant to help within the area so the technicians and doctors can continue to provide excellent patient-focused care.
Primary duties will include assisting the veterinary technician with:
- Anesthetizing patients and ensuring safe recoveries
- Maintaining cleanliness of the area and equipment
- Maintaining inventory and stock
Additionally, the position may assist other areas of oncology when needed. Shift available is Monday through Friday from 8AM until 4PM.

$11.00 per hour.Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications:
