Director of Career Services
SEARCH EXTENDED! Wells College seeks a Director of Career Center. Fundamental to the position is the ability to develop and implement effective methods of preparing students for the world of work. In addition, this person is charged with enhancing and coordinating activities within both the internal and external communities. The Director reports to the Provost and Dean of the College.
Qualifications: Masters degree; 5 years experience in college career services or similar experience in career development in a business environment; experience supervising and building partnerships; extensive knowledge of student development and career development; strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills especially those in the areas of collaboration, conflict resolution, problem solving and decision-making; strong organization and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and constituents; ability to work well without close supervision; proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Jenzabar or other student information systems); and an inclusive student-centered philosophy of providing services and resources.
