Relevant Work Experience: 2+ years in restaurant, food service or hospitality as management or supervisor position

Requirements
The General Manager has the overall responsibility for overseeing the people, processes and operations of your store. The General Manager drives excellence in day-to-day operations; trains, coaches, supports Team Members; plans and sets goals; sets performance standards; and represents the Sushi Maki brand to guests and the community.

Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Leadership and coaching:
Models company culture by being authentic, fun and fresh and by creating a casual, family-friendly environment.
Displays a positive, can-do attitude and holds Team Members accountable for excellence in guest service, product quality, consistency and execution, store cleanliness and maintenance.
Identifies and develops top performers for future leadership opportunities. Conducts hiring and staffing. Leads orientation and training sessions for new Team Members.
Motivates Team Members through effective performance management and goal setting
Responsible for development, implementation, refinement and enforcement of corporate restaurant policies and safety guidelines.
P&L accountability

Planning and execution:
Act as communication liaison between Team Members and corporate support center.
Identifies and corrects execution gaps in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Improves service and product quality by actively seeking guest feedback and relentlessly focusing on excellence.
Leverages our corporate marketing strategy, promotions, and innovations to grow top line sales.
Identifies and drives operational improvements to maximize store profitability
Maintains a clean and inviting restaurant appearance
Functions as networking ambassador of the Sushi Maki brand by leading community connection and outreach efforts, identifying and acting upon local marketing opportunities, and representing Sushi Maki in local events.
