Serve as coordinator of SCC's Pharmacy Technology program, preparing classroom and laboratory teaching/learning materials in compliance with KCTCS program curriculum.  Negotiate clinical facility agreements with community hospitals, pharmacies, and other agencies which may be used for clinical sites.  Accept responsibility for other administrative functions of the coordinator role, including management of program budget and preparation of academic schedules.  Instruct/supervise students in classroom, college laboratory and clinical areas associated with the Pharmacy Technology program, and participate in academic advising.


Minimum Requirements: Associate Degree with Certified Pharmacy Technician credential, plus retail and/or hospital experience as a pharmacy technician. 

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field, or other discipline, with at least two years of experience working as a pharmacy technician.  Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Teaching experience would be an asset.
