Position Summary: Research Project Coordinator, to coordinate data governance and study administration activities. They will be responsible for activities including data governance process oversight, research study coordination, and general resource support. This position is needed to join a rapidly growing team that supports research studies in UNC Lineberger by manipulating very large datasets. This person will interface directly with data owners and clinical and research partners and assist in the administration of a resource providing data and statistical analyses for cancer population research in the state of North Carolina.
Education Requirements: Completion of a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, preferably in a research environment.
Qualification and Experience: Required: Very strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments; strong customer service skills and service orientation. Familiarity with study IRB process and procedures. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office productivity suite. Strongly preferred: Familiarity with data and information governance and health informatics, including data security rules. Experience coordinating multiple research activities with multiple stakeholders, including research personnel, staff and leadership. Preferred: Experience with outcomes and comparative effectiveness research.
