Duties: Reporting to the Associate Vice Provost for Research (AVPR) within the Research Integrity Office (RIO), the Research Integrity Office Program Coordinator will provide frontline support related to the University's Research-Related Financial Conflicts of Interest Program (FCOI Program). Specifically, this person will provide assistance in all areas related to the electronic disclosure process and serve as staff to the Conflict of Interest Standing Committee. This individual will be well-versed in a variety of Penn electronic systems and computer applications. This person will also provide support to RIO staff on other Research Integrity Office initiatives, which could include presentation development, staff support to ad hoc committees, peer surveys, dataset compilation and analysis, and other specialized activities as needed.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Excellent computer skills are essential (Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to learn and master multiple University databases, programs and systems. Experience in grants administration, conflicts of interest and/or working in a research-intensive academic setting a plus but not necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, writing, planning and organizational skills required. Must be detail oriented. Ability to independently research information related to conflicts of interest and be adept at web-based research. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information in an appropriate and professional manner and to manage shifting priorities and multiple, demanding projects. Must be a team player with a collaborative working style.
