General Summary: The University of North Georgia's College of Education is seeking applications for part-time faculty.

Federally designated as a senior military college, one of the university's signature leadership programs is its 800-member Corps of Cadets on UNG's Dahlonega Campus.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The faculty member will:
  • Teach courses in the educational leadership program and provide observation and evaluation of student practicum and intern students in the program.
  • Teach courses as needed as well as coordinate observation and conference meetings with the students and their mentor teachers in varied school locations.
  • Attend scheduled meetings and /or trainings with students and faculty, school districts, mentor teachers, and administration.


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Doctorate in education required.
  • Georgia teaching certificate preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential. Technology skills and good interpersonal skill are required.
  • Successful applicants should be able to be objective in the evaluation and grading of students and foster our candidates' confidence and efficacy in school leadership.
  • Preference will be given to the candidate who has the requisite education, with expertise in special education, curriculum, as well as educational leadership in public schools.
