Job Description

Job Title: Digital Experience Developer

The Marketplace (Marketsmith, Brushfire, i.Predictus) is looking for a talented Digital Experience Developer. You will create unique and engaging online and mobile brand experiences for our diverse list of clients. Ideal candidates will have front and back end skills, a passion for original thinking and design, and a commitment to helping us and our clients stay at the forefront of mobile, online and interactive marketing. You will be working in a team-oriented, ideas-welcome, full-steam-ahead agency environment alongside a talented group of art directors, copywriters, planners and account executives, keeping us up-to-date on the latest in digital marketing tools and opportunities.

  • Complete website development (not just modification of existing sites)
  • Online advertising development including animated banners and rich media units
  • Mobile ad unit (necessary) and app development (would be a big, big plus)

Skills and Knowledge:
  • HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, Sass, LESS, W3C
  • Understanding of PHP
  • Experience with custom themes in Joomla!, Drupal and Wordpress
  • Understanding of MySQL
  • Cross browser/device responsive development
  • Understanding of SEO and SEM best practices
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Creative approach to user experience and interface
  • A cool head for troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Skilled at collaborating with team members and clients
  • Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities
  • Continuous learning new languages and platforms
