UNT Quail is a research laboratory that fosters sustainable quail populations through innovative research, conservation, and education. We conduct quail research in the field and laboratory, we work with over 400 private landowners, and train the next generation of quail scientists.

Job Description
The Biological Sciences Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Coordinator I to join the UNT Quail team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Managing the administrative operations for the UNT Quail program.
* Serves as the primary contact for UNT Quail, to include recommending and implementing policies and procedures.
* Responsible for coordination of budget, purchasing, travel, human resources, and property control functions.
* Analyzes and makes recommendations on office operation needs to include equipment, workflow, staffing, and materials.
* Provides direct support for the Executive Director to include correspondence, data compilation, preparation of reports, calendar maintenance, and related responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess an Associate's Degree and three years of office administration experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Associate's Degree and three years of office/laboratory coordination experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
