Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Public Administration seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2017, Spring 2018, and Summer 2018 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.

The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors to teach a variety of courses in nonprofit management, including Volunteer Management Concepts & Applications, Proposal Writing & Grants Administration, Community Resources, and Introduction to Philanthropy & Fundraising. Teaching responsibilities can be in either the department's public administration graduate program teaching the professional practice course or teaching one or more undergraduate courses in nonprofit management.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate degree in Public Administration & Management, Nonprofit Management, or other relevant fields. A master's degree will be considered if at least 18 hours are in the discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should also have teaching experience at the university level, Online teaching experience is a plus.
