Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering at the University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for a full-time visiting lecturer (non-tenure track), starting in the Fall semester of 2017. The candidate selected will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in relevant areas of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, and participate in ABET accreditation evaluation and assessment, curriculum development, student advising and/or other academic service related responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
The minimum requirement for the position is an earned M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours directly related to the courses taught.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, and one-year university teaching experience is preferred.
