Rowan University is a public comprehensive state-designated research institution with approximately 16,000 students. The Rowan University Department of Music’s growing Vocal Division is now hiring a studio voice teacher to instruct primarily undergraduate students in the Musical Theater Track. Group class voice instruction may also be required.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will hold at least a Masters Degree in Music or Musical Theater and will have an established career as a professional singer in the musical theater profession. In addition, the candidate will have experience teaching voice, a strong basis in classical vocal technique, and will be proficient in Italian, German and French diction. Knowledge of classical and contemporary musical theater repertoire is required. Piano skills and experience in teaching voice at the university level are preferred.
