Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor for the Student Center Complex (University Center and Shalala Student Center), the Customer Service Representative is responsible for simultaneously coordinating and managing multiple tasks and projects related to events and reservations of the Student Center Complex.

Primary duties and responsibilities:
Administrative Responsibilities
•Organizes and maintains reservation materials for the Events & Reservations Office including events for student organizations, university departments and external clients.
•Assists with maintenance of current software and coordination of new event management software.
•Assists in the preparation of contracts, completion of forms, and correspondence.
•Performs secretarial tasks (filing, word-processing, answering phones, etc.) for Events and Reservations Office.
•Processes facility use agreements and obtains proper insurance information as necessary for events.
•Assists with overseeing student staff, including help in coordinating their work schedules and training materials.
•Assists with billing and accounts receivables for events at the SCC.
•Assists with student evaluations across the SCC.
•Prepares weekly newsletter for student staff.
•Performs additional duties as delegated by the Associate Director of the Student Center Complex and the Customer Service Supervisor.

•Provides on-site assistance for SCC events.
•Assists with division-wide initiatives, as necessary.
•Participates in departmental meetings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
•Strong organizational skills.
•Must be able to learn software for task tracking, budgets, etc.
•Must be able to utilize RESS and/or other specialized computerized reservation software.
•Must be proficient in typing and data entry.
•Must be customer service-oriented and flexible.
•Must be able to work in a team environment.
•Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Must possess or quickly acquire an outstanding working knowledge of the University.
•Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Education Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work Experience Requirements:
