Position Summary

The Center for Anti-Counterfeiting and Product Protection in the College of Social Science is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, multi-tasking individual to coordinate and provide administrative support to its operational activities. Specific duties include working with staff and faculty at the A-CAPP Center to: establish, monitor, maintain and oversee domestic and international meeting and event planning; oversee publication processes including print production, inventory management, and communication to stakeholders; coordinate schedules and time entry for hourly staff and students; coordinate arrival of guests to the Center, including stakeholders; collect and interpret information in order to produce and maintain the metrics database, contact list, and other reports; compile records and submit account and financial documents, including but not limited to travel reimbursements, disbursement vouchers, and vendor invoicing; coordinate the administrative process for the student intern/extern program including the application process, reviewing documentation, and on-boarding; scheduling domestic and international travel for A-CAPP faculty and affiliates; administer the facility organization, supplies, promotional materials, mailing/shipping; coordinates other operational and administrative functions. This is an off-date position that is reviewed annually for reappointment contingent upon funding renewal. 

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired through the first two or three years of college, such as an Associate's degree in a business-related field or in a field which corresponds to the particular department of employment; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation software and/or desktop publishing, web page software; office procedures, or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience providing broad administrative support in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines with little supervision and willingness to adapt to a changing environment; demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; problem solver; practical experience working with University policies, procedures and KFS finance documents and industry customers; ability to assemble, organize, analyze, and effectively summarize large amounts of information; intermediate knowledge of desktop PC applications (MS Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project or equivalent software).
