Position Summary

Manages the operation of a Starbucks licensed store location on campus; maintains guest service and quality standards by utilizing Residential and Hospitality Services Values; assists in staffing; prepares special and periodic financial reports and maintains unit records; forecasts needs and orders product in order to maintain inventory levels; serves as a liaison with guests, vendors, and University departments and partners; maintains health and safety standards in all operations; maintains Starbucks brand standards and compliance.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge normally acquired from specialized training such as that acquired in two to three years of college, technical, vocational, trade or business school with coursework in a field related to the area of employment; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in performing tasks related to the area of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. May require certification in the area of employment. 

Desired Qualifications

Experience and education in management; ability to work in an extremely fast paced, highly mobile student guest environment; previous work in a team management setting; prior experience creating partner and vendor “win-win” relationships; experience with point-of-sale system, employee scheduling and basic Human Resources functions.
