Position Summary

(East Lansing, MI) Utilize information technology skills and experience with research administration systems and processes to provide supervision and support to the team in the area of system design and development for Sponsored Programs Administration. Responsible for project implementation, systems integration and related information technology utilizing Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server BI Tools (SSRS, SSIS and SSAS),ASP.Net using C#, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJax, Jquery Bootstrap framework, and Visual Basic. Develop complex software and procedures with minimal to no assistance from higher lever staff; design technical specifications, database layouts and programs of moderate complexity; analyze requirements and perform basic functional/technical design on projects of limited scope. Participate as a fully functioning professional member of medium/complex project team and perform research on designated systems software products.

 

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related information technology field and five years of related and progressively responsible related information technology experience.
