The Management Department is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor for Fall 2017. 

Duties: Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses primarily in the areas of Human Resources and Principles of Management. Secondary areas of interest are entrepreneurship or health care management (particularly long-term care). Conduct scholarly research in areas related to teaching. Model professional relationships with students through classroom instruction as well as academic and career advising. Contribute to the growth of the Management Department and the College of Business and Technology through service activities. Be a teacher-scholar through engagement in professional development activities.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Management or related field. ABD acceptable with completion by August, 2018. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate must meet AACSB standards for faculty qualification.

Preferred Qualifications: Combination of academic preparation and industry experience relevant to the teaching requirements for this position. Previous university teaching experience including developing syllabi, creating learning activities that stimulate student engagement and critical thinking, and developing appropriate evaluative methods. Evidence of scholarly productivity. Willingness to teach using a variety of methods and media including face-to-face and web-based instruction.
