The Department of Business at Wittenberg University seeks candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Practice. This position will involve contributing to both the undergraduate business program and M.S. in Analytics program. In terms of teaching at the undergraduate level, preference will be given to applicants with the capability to teach courses in business analytics, entrepreneurship, and/or marketing. The successful candidate will also be expected to play a significant role on the team leading the M.S. in Analytics program, specifically with respect to curriculum oversight and management of the students' academic experience. The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in department and university service, as well as industry engagement and marketing activities as applicable. The ability and desire to work with government, business and industry to build collaborative relationships that enhance the alignment of our programs with regional and national needs is highly desired. Applicants must be committed to teaching in a liberal arts environment.
Minimum qualifications include a graduate degree in business or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated aptitude for teaching undergraduate students and substantial business experience in business analytics, entrepreneurship, and/or marketing.
