Nurse coordinator of the autopsy program includes the following activities: a. enrolling new participants and responding to queries from all enrollees b. conducting regular phone or in-person cognitive assessments with participants c. handles autopsy call approximately 50% - 60% of each month for participants in our program and completing associated paperwork d. coordinating the monthly autopsy call schedule 2) Additional tasks may include a. Drawing blood, measuring vital signs, and collecting questionnaire data on research participants b. Complete other tasks in support of research projects.

Education

Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date. Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required.

Experience

Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required.
