Provide instruction and monitor teaching/learning effectiveness in courses assigned by the division Assistant Dean. An adjunct faculty position requires professionals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates for this position must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask as well as the ability to engage large groups of people with complicated material. They must also be able to use technology sufficiently to use a learning management system (Blackboard) and respond to email.

Bachelor's degree is preferred for most positions.
Two years teaching experience at the community college level.
Criminal Justice (Minimum of relevant Masters in Criminal Justice or a related field. Preference for candidates with policing experience.)
Emergency Medical Technician - B (IDPH Lead instructor certification)
Fire Science Technology (OSFM Certifications and an Associates Degree)
Health Care Interpreting (Minimum of relevant Associates Degree)
Health Information Technology (Registered Health Information Technologist Certification)
Human Services (Minimum of relevant Masters Degree plus CADC certification)
Interpreter Training (Sign Language) (Interpreter license or native language)
