Director of Instructional Innovation
The Director of the Instructional Innovation focuses on the professional development for all faculty including formal and informal activities, facilitating workshops and inviting faculty to use The Sandbox (aka Center for Innovative Instruction) for dialogue and meetings. The Director also serves as a liaison between the College Administration, Academic Departments and all adjunct faculty. Specific duties include the leadership and coordination of all college-wide adjunct professional development, orientation sessions, adjunct evaluation processes, and assisting in the design of all services for adjunct faculty. Managing and coordinating professional development opportunities for all faculty through participation in and support of a Center for Innovative Instruction Supporting Human Resources, Academic Department Chairs and Lead Faculty in the recruitment and hiring and support of adjunct instructors. Responsibilities include evening hours for assisting with college-wide administrative needs.
