The University of Illinois seeks a Financial Accounting and Reporting Analyst (Accounting Associate) to perform University Accounting functions related to: establishment and administration of procedures for university accounting processes; providing advanced accounting functions related to gift, endowment income, self-supporting, service plan, and agency funds; and providing oversight to ensure University compliance with University, state, and federal policies and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications with Specialty Factor:

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a field related to the position
2. Two years of professional level accounting, managerial and/or business experience, one year of which was at an administrative level
3. Additional education, training and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position may be required

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of IRS regulations related to unrelated business income tax (UBIT).
2. Proficient in database, query and reporting tools, such as Microsoft Access.
