Reporting to the Media Manager, the Media Planner has the main responsibility of updating and managing marketing plans for assigned accounts. This role is instrumental to the successful execution of the client's communication campaign by developing, coordinating, purchasing, and executing all digital, social, and traditional communication strategies and tactics for the Advertising and Publications department. The Media Planner provides input to the strategic direction in order to create the best communications plan possible and is the lead in the implementation and maintenance of these communication campaigns.Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Related Business degree
Required Experience: At least 2 years' of digital media planning/buying work experience in an Agency or Client environment.
Preferred Experience: 4+ years' digital media planning/buying experience or relevant marketing experience in an Agency or Client environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Understanding of online media planning, implementation, and optimization. Understands how digital fits in the overall client marketing/media strategy. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Detail oriented and proficient at managing projects and able to multi-task, organize, prioritize and structure workload. Ability to develop well-written documents and presentations. Proficiency with Mac computers.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Working knowledge of media integration, i.e.: TV, Radio, OOH, and Print. Executional knowledge of advertising platforms such as AdWords, Facebook Ads, Programmatic Buying, Mobile, and Email. Experience with Google Analytics and DoubleClick. HTML and web-development skills a plus.
