The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at The George Washington University
(http://departments.columbian.gwu.edu/eall/) invites applications for a non-tenure track assistant professor position in Korean Linguistics and Language with a 5-year renewable contract, anticipated to start as early as Fall 2017. This position will be complementary to the Literature and Humanities endowed professorship anticipated to start in the near future.
A PhD degree in Korean linguistics; native or near native fluency in Korean and English; evidence of excellence in teaching native speakers of English at college level as demonstrated by evaluations; active research and publication agenda in their specialized areas; and ability to teach multiple levels of Korean language in addition to linguistics courses.Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience Other Benefits: Other Information:
