Posting Summary:
The Office of Pre-Award Research Administration within the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for an Administrative Assistant.

Duties may include, but not limited to maintenance and updating databases, monitoring incoming email traffic, and general office duties as assigned. Candidates will have to be able to perform office duties with moderate supervision, must be able to work independently. Computer skills on software programs, particularly Excel.

Successful candidates will have the ability to multi-task, interact professionally with internal and external parties, extreme attention to detail, possess strong oral and written communication skills, provide high level of customer service, easily adapt to fast-paced and changing environment.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours (20-25 hours per week) with the potential to become full-time with increased responsibilities and duties. The starting wage will be $12-$15 per hour.
