The University of Virginia School of Nursing has an opening for a Clinical Simulation Educator - general track faculty member (Instructor) interested in joining one of the nation's top nursing programs.
The Clinical Simulation Educator is responsible for providing leadership, consultation and evidence-based education as a nursing simulation expert; for clinical curriculum, experiences and activities occurring at the Clinical Simulation Learning Center (CSLC) for student nurses and nursing faculty and other professional disciples of the health care team. Responsibilities include design, development, facilitation, instruction, and implementation of innovative simulation-based education involving the use of simulation technology.
We seek applicants with two years of clinical experience in an academic teaching setting, required. In addition, applicants should demonstrate ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently, required. Certified Health Care Simulation Educator Certification is preferred.
A Master's degree in Nursing is required. Licensure in Virginia is required by the start date.
