Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia School of Law is seeking a Research Librarian for the law library. The Research Librarian will produce books, articles and web materials on the history of the Law School, conduct literature reviews and read relevant information, and obtain factual information and authentic detail. In addition, the Librarian will interview subjects (traveling when necessary), present work to editors for feedback and revise as needed, and work with The University of Virginia Press to meet their standards and requirements for publication. The Librarian will be expected to prepare presentations for the library and legal community and assist with digital presentation of published work, marketing published work, and critiquing the work of other writers on staff.

Requirements include a J. D. from an ABA-accredited law school, superior research and writing skills, and a strong history of publication. Familiarity with digital technology preferred.
