Required Qualifications: (Evidenced by an attached resume)
Completed course work in chemistry, physics and earth sciences at undergraduate level. Experience in laboratory based research. Lab experience in solution based materials synthesis.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with thermogravimetric analysis techniques. Experience with laboratory safety procedures. Good communication skills. Ability to work in a diverse work environment. Experience with diffraction based characterization methods.
Brief Description of Duties:
The successful incumbent must be responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team setting. The Summer Project Aide will:
- Assist with laboratory preparation and set-up, document preparation, and clean up.
- Other duties as assigned.
Special Notes. This is a summer appointment. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
