Job Description
The Admissions Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Administrative Specialist I to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

* Scan and index all submitted documents each semester in a timely and efficient manner.
* Review images for accuracy and quality after being scanned and ensure that indexing is done accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following required qualifications:

Graduation from High School or GED equivalent and one year of general office or clerical experience. Substitution of education for experience allowed. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required:
* Skill in evaluating facts or situation to route calls/customers appropriately.
* Skill in telephone etiquette and courteous communications with public.
* Skill in basic office procedures.
* Skill in the use of personal computer/software.
* Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines including, personal computers, telephones and copiers.
* Skill in basic filing and recordkeeping.

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

* Experience with UNT's Student Information System
* Basic office and administration skills
* Knowledge of MS office applications and Outlook mail client
