The School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management (HRTM) in the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management is seeking a media friendly and highly motivated Food Service Management professional to teach undergraduate courses in Restaurant Food Production Management. The classes will take place at the McCutchen House, a student-operated multicultural dining facility, located on the historic Horseshoe of the University of South Carolina. The facility host scholars and visitors from around the world.
Broad-based knowledge of all aspects of hot and cold food preparation. Excellent communication skills, accompanied with a proven record of high quality food production. Ability to collaborate with HRTM faculty on food service research.
Master's Degree and two (2) years of front house management experience in a full service restaurant/food service environment.
Master's Degree in Hospitality Management or Master's Degree in related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Hospitality or Management. Five (5) years of front house management experience in a full-service restaurant/food service environment. Experience with budget/finance, food costing, and menu development.
