Position Information: The Administrative Assistant in the Psychology Department performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities in a high volume, fast paced
environment to facilitate the efficient operation of the unit. The psychology department is comprised of 40 faculty, 8 staff, 100+ graduate students and number of
other academic and staff appointees.

Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in an office setting
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a busy work environment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience working with confidential documents.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an academic department in higher education.
Experience working with UCR systems and policy.
