This position will be responsible for the safe transport of patients to/from a variety of places within the Kentucky Clinic in a timely manner. Transporters work independently and may be required to act as a first responder if an emergency arises during transport. Transporters will move patients by wheelchair, bed and/or stretcher as needed to accommodate Clinic Visits (including to and from car). Transport Aide will greet patients and answer questions as needed while remaining respectful and empathetic to patient concerns. May also be required to call taxi and other transportation needs on behalf of patients as well as keep accurate records of transport request.

Physical Requirements

This position may require lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting/standing for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand and move about for 8 hours daily. Must be able to perform CPR.


Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30PM.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills. Should have the ability to become CPR certified prior to start date.

Preferred Education/Experience

Prefer at least two years work experience. Work experience in hospital or healthcare setting, CPR certification, and knowledge of hospital bed adjustment and use of wheelchairs highly preferred.
