University of North Texas - Lecturer (multiple-year)
The Mayborn School of Journalism at the University of North Texas invites applications for a three-year appointment as a LECTURER in the Advertising discipline beginning Fall 2018. The Lecturer will teach sections of advertising classes including Advertising Campaigns, Advertising Management, Advertising Media, Account Planning and other classes as they are needed by the school. Candidate will also be responsible for coaching the American Advertising Federation Ad Team for the National Student Advertising Competition. A successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of digital platforms and social media. Lecturers also participate in school activities, meetings, and serve on committees. Master's degree in Advertising or a field relevant to the courses taught. Applicants must have a minimum of three years professional experience in advertising, graphic design or a related industry AND a minimum of three years of teaching at the college level.
